At a winter NAMM show in California, JBL Professional displayed the entire EON G2 second generation of powered speakers. Among the new products being displayed and demonstrated is the EON10 G2 compact powered speaker with 10 in. woofer, increased power, and a 3-input mini-mixer.

JBL EON1500 2-Way PA Cabinet (225 Watts, 1x15 in.)
The Eon 1500 is the newest addition to JBL's line of Eon speakers and are portable, powerful, and affordable! This speaker can be used as a front-of-house PA speaker or as a dual-angle floor monitor, and with its light weight it can be easily transported from gig to gig.

JBL EON15G2 Powered Speaker with EQ
The JBL EON15 G2 delivers 300 watts of power to a 15 in. neodymium Differential Drive LF driver. The driver boasts a dual neodymium magnet and dual voice coil motor that efficiently delivers high output from a lightweight woofer. Meanwhile, the HF amplifier delivers 100 watts of power to a 1.75 in. titanium diaphragm compression driver with Ferro-fluid cooling.

JBL EON 15P 2-Way 15 In Powered Speaker
This 2-way 15 in. PA cabinet is internally biamp powered. The biamp design provides dedicated power amps for the low frequency 15 in. driver and the 15 in. compression driver. The lows are driven by 125 watts and the highs by 50 watts. By separating the power amps the cabinet is more efficient and sound quality is more precise. This cabinet features a high-output, neodymium 15 in. driver with a 1.75 in. voice coil. This contributes to its light weight and the portability that everyone loves about the EON line.

JBL PRX518S Powered Subwoofer (500 Watts, 1x18 in.)
Compact and powerful, the PRX518S offers the performance of an 18 in. subwoofer in a package not much larger than a typical 15 in. sub. With a pole receptacle (that accepts a SS3-BK) on the top panel and integrated stereo pass-thru, with selectable HP filter, this is the perfect compliment to the PRX500 full-range systems. Configured with a PRX512M or PRX515; the result is a highly transportable, high performance subsatellite system. The addition of a polarity reverse options further enables system optimization.

JBL PRX525 2-Way Powered Speaker (650 Watts, 2x15 in.)
If a simple set-up is required and full bandwidth output at high levels is a must, then the PRX525 is most likely the optimum solution. With the same foot print as the PRX515 the addition of another 15 in. woofer only increases the weight by 24 lbs., yet the increase in performance negates the requirement for an extra subwoofer in live music and many music playback applications. For live music, recorded music playback and speech the user has the option of tailoring the EQ, 'flat' for speech intelligibility and 'boost' for enhanced bass and crisp highs in recorded music playback. A microphone can be directly connected to the speaker input for quick on-the-fly PA applications.

JBL PRX535 3-Way Powered Speaker
The PRX535 offers a high level of performance. By design, a 3-way configuration, it is the most accurate in the PRX500 Series. With a horn loaded midrange, pattern control is maintained to a much lower frequency resulting in exceptional clarity and uniform sonic projection over the defined coverage area. Ideally suited to applications where the program material, live or prerecorded has many subtle nuances that is critical to the performance. As with all the full-range PRX500 Series systems two EQ selections can be used to optimize the system for the program material and/or environment. The input section also accommodates either Line or Mic/Instrument level inputs.

JBL SRX712M 2-Way Stage Monitor (800 Watts, 12 In.)
The SRX712M was designed with one goal - build the lightest, smallest, loudest, clearest stage monitor possible while delivering a strikingly professional appearance. The SRX712M uses a 12-inch Differential Drive woofer and a 3-inch (voice coil diameter) compression driver that handles 800 watts (continuous) power in a 12-inch high profile. A 90° x 50° horn provides smooth, even coverage regardless of the position of the performer.

The SRX728S is built to deliver smooth, clean, accurate low-end. A pair of 18-inch Differential Drive woofers provide extension down to 27 Hz while handling an amazing 1600 watts of continuous power. Large, open ducts minimize port turbulance and the heavily braced enclosure assures tight, solid bass. An external switch allows the SRX728S to be used with cabling systems designed to power subs from contacts ±1 or ±2.

For "Subwoofer/Satellite" configurations, the MRX518S is equipped with a top-mounted, 35 mm pole mount socket that can receive this SS3-BK pole. This can be used to mount speakers equipped with standard 35 mm pole sockets and weighing up to 50 kg (100 lbs).
